Jesyel Cezar, a native of Santa Maria (RS), Brazil, completed his piano degree at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Ney Fialkow from 2019 to 2023.

Jesyel’s commitment and growth have manifested in his notable achievements in competitions. In 2018, he was awarded first prize in the 5th Composition Competition of the Franz Liszt Foundation, held in Italy, which highlighted his exceptional abilities as a composer.

Demonstrating his virtuosity on the keyboard, Jesyel secured the third prize in the XXX Souza Lima Piano Competition in 2021.

In addition to his accomplishments as a performer, Jesyel Cezar has also made significant contributions as a devoted piano teacher. Over the past six years, he has been sharing his expertise and passion for music with students. His teaching experience spans working at Casa da Música and serving as a teacher in the Extension Course in Musical Instruments at UFRGS from 2019 to 2022. Offering private piano and composition classes, Jesyel provides tailored guidance, nurturing the artistic development of his students. Through his teaching, he aims to inspire and cultivate the next generation of musicians, instilling not only technical skills but also a profound appreciation for the beauty and transformative power of music.
