As the younger brother of ukulele virtuoso, Jake Shimabukuro, we grew up playing the ukulele for as long as I can remember. Although I’ve recorded a few albums and toured around the world, I eventually developed a passion for teaching the ukulele. I started teaching in a small studio at the age of 17. Learning from Jake my whole life, I’ve realized that it was very easy for me to relate to my students being that I’ve always been a student myself. My classes are designed to have fun first while learning new things every lesson. With my 25+ years of teaching experience, I believe I can help all students at any level.
