Hello!

I’m Dan and I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old with private lessons, guitar and singing since I was 15 years old and I acquired a Bachelors degree in Music from Florida Atlantic University. I create and perform my own music as I have music out on all major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play Etc.

Lessons With Me:

I assess your goals – what do you want out of lessons? Do you want to play classical? Jazz? Learn the new Adele or Sam Smith song you so violently sing in the car?
Make a plan – I take the goals you gave me and devise a specific plan for you to infuse your desires into what we are learning.
Keep It Interesting – while I have a staple 3 things we do each week, I like to move things around and expose my students to new things (improv for one) to make sure things don’t get boring.
Foster Community – I give my students opportunities to perform at open mics I host in the city, or, at private student shows I put on.

Meet Up Jam Sessions – my team and I host jam sessions for people all around the city, a student of ours or not, and they come in at all levels – beginner, intermediate and advanced. We are working at expanding this 1x a month meeting to multiple times a month to truly create a sense of community amongst the musicians in the San Francisco and Bay Area.
